ATLANTA – A winning $72,000 Fantasy 5 ticket was sold in LaFayette. Two players matched all five numbers in the Jan. 29 Fantasy 5 drawing, winning $72,868. Main Street Food Mart, 800 N. Main St. in LaFayette, sold the jackpot-winning ticket.
The second jackpot-winning ticket was sold in Milledgeville. Winning numbers from the Jan. 29 drawing were: 12-21-28-29-34.
Roy Rekkalea, store manager at Main Street in LaFayette, said he’s happy to have sold a winning ticket.
“I tell my customers this is a lucky store,” he said. “They are very much interested.”
Sherry Wilson-Pickard of LaFayette has claimed her $72,868 Fantasy 5 prize.
Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning Fantasy 5 jackpot tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning jackpot ticket is sold, the retailers selling the winning jackpot tickets will share the bonus. Main Street Food Mart will share a $4,000 retailer incentive bonus.
