ATLANTA – Life is golden for one Mableton great-grandmother. Betty Teminsky has won a $300,000 prize playing the new Georgia Lottery instant game $3,000,000 Taxes Paid and will celebrate her 80th birthday Sunday.
“This is amazing to me. It’s really unbelievable,” Teminsky said. “I have never dreamed of anything like this.”
The great-grandmother of two said she won $30 moments before scratching her big win. She was grocery shopping with her daughter at Kroger #0464, 4875 Floyd Road in Mableton, when she purchased the tickets.
“I held it up to my chest, and I went to my daughter,” she recalled.
Teminsky, who also has one granddaughter, is “thrilled to pieces” over her lottery win.
She plans to celebrate with a vacation.
“I am so happy,” she exclaimed.
The instant game $3,000,000 Taxes Paid is loaded with cash prizes of up to $3 million after taxes.
