ATLANTA – What’s in the bag for Marsha Tinsley? A $10,000 prize! Tinsley, a grocery store cashier, matched five out of six winning numbers from the Feb. 17 Decades of Dollars drawing, winning a $10,000 prize.
She purchased her Quik Pik ticket at Chevron Food Mart, 1215 Scenic Highway in Lawrenceville. Winning numbers from the Feb. 17 drawing were: 9-10-28-35-39-43.
“This was my first time playing this game,” said Tinsley, who lives in Snellville. “I played because this is a new game.”
The mother of two teenage girls watched the televised drawing as the numbers were drawn.
“I couldn’t believe it,” she said. “I didn’t think it was real.”
Tinsley, 50, has no immediate plans for her lottery win.
