ATLANTA – One lucky Forsyth great-grandmother is happy with her sweet win from the Georgia Lottery. Corine Singleton, 61, played the new instant game 15X The Money, winning a $150,000 top prize.
Express Food Mart, 270 N. Lee St. in Forsyth, sold the winning ticket.
“I went in and bought two, and I won,” Singleton explained. “The clerk looked at the ticket, and I couldn’t believe it.”
A cook for a local golf course, Singleton has three adult children, 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
“I’m going to get myself an air conditioner,” she shared.
