ATLANTA – One lucky Swainsboro truck driver is hitting the highway with a heavy load from the Georgia Lottery. Brian Brown, 36, played the 50X The Money instant ticket, winning a $1 million top prize.
Brown stopped at Minit Mart #1, 504 S.E. Broad St. in Metter, where he purchased the ticket.
Scratching it while at home, Brown was shocked at his discovery.
“I looked at it a couple of times,” he said. “There was a ‘wow’ factor. I stayed calm and held it together.”
Brown anticipates purchasing a new home and investing in college funds for his children.
“They’re our future, so I want to leave them with an inheritance,” he shared.
