ATLANTA – A Gainesville great-grandmother of four has won a shiny new vehicle courtesy of the Georgia Lottery. Mary Woody snagged a brand new 2015 Harley-Davidson motorcycle playing the instant game Harley-Davidson®.
“I’m 74 years old, and I really need a motorcycle,” Woody quipped. “I’ll keep it for a while and go from there.”
Woody won a series of instant tickets playing a coin operated amusement machine at B & B Grocery, 5521 Thompson Bridge Road in Murrayville. The Harley-Davidson® ticket produced the vehicle as the prize.
“I’ve had fun winning,” she said. “It’s a good experience.”
Wanting to “enjoy life,” Woody has three adult children and five grandchildren in addition to her four great-grandchildren.
Having worked 30 years at a poultry plant, Woody is looking forward to the future with family and friends.
“This has been a good road,” she shared.
Woody was awarded the keys to her new vehicle Wednesday at Killer Creek Harley-Davidson®, 11480 Alpharetta Highway, Roswell.
The Georgia Lottery instant game Harley-Davidson® is loaded with cash prizes, Harley-Davidson motorcycles and top prizes of $250,000.
