ATLANTA – Rocheen Pearson of Smyrna is excited over winning a brand new vehicle from the Georgia Lottery. Pearson, 55, was selected as a winner from the Jackpot Series Second Chance Promotion, winning a 2015 Kia Optima EX.
Pearson was awarded her vehicle Friday at Ed Voyles Kia, 2145 South Cobb Parkway in Smyrna.
“I was really surprised when I got the phone call,” she recalled upon receiving the good news. “I lost my breath. I was in disbelief.”
A mother of two and grandmother of four, Pearson is a professional assistant with Fulton County Schools.
Jackpot Series is a new family of Georgia Lottery instant games with prizes ranging from $50,000 to $3 million.
Ticket prices for the games are $1, $2, $5 and $20.
Players can enter non-winning Jackpot Series tickets online for a chance to win a 2015 Kia Optima EX.
