ATLANTA – Three winning tickets worth $10,000 each were sold recently in Doraville, Duluth and McDonough for the April 27 and May 1 Mega Millions drawings.
Winning numbers from the April 27 Mega Millions drawing were: 2-29-38-63-66 and the Mega Ball was 11.
The ticket from the April 27 drawing was sold at Cafe Thuy Nga, located at 5095 Buford Highway NE in Doraville.
Winning numbers from the May 1 Mega Millions drawing were: 2-7-20-55-70 and the Mega Ball was 1.
Shell, located at 2700 Buford Highway in Duluth, and BP, located at 3342 Highway 81 E. in McDonough, sold the tickets from the May 1 drawing.
The McDonough ticket was claimed Wednesday at the Georgia Lottery’s Macon District Office. Winners have not come forward to claim the other prizes yet.
Mega Millions winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes.
Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is an estimated $143 million to a single annuity winner.
Mega Millions tickets can be purchased at Georgia Lottery retailers statewide. Georgia residents also can purchase Mega Millions tickets via the Georgia Lottery app or online at www.galottery.com.
As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Mega Millions will benefit education in the state of Georgia.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $19.5 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program.
