ATLANTA – A winning ticket worth $5 million from the Georgia Lottery’s Millionaire Jumbo Bucks scratcher was sold in Ellenwood.
The winning ticket was purchased at QuikTrip #787, located at 2881 Forest Parkway.
The winner claimed the prize Wednesday.
The Millionaire Jumbo Bucks scratcher offers players chances to win top prizes of $5 million, second-level prizes of $250,000, third-level prizes of $5,000 and many other great prizes.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $22.7 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.9 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.6 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
