ATLANTA – For the second time in recent weeks, a Columbus store has sold a Georgia FIVE top prize ticket worth $10,000.
A winning ticket was purchased in Columbus for the March 26 Georgia FIVE midday drawing. Liberty at Fort Benning, located at 1103 Fort Benning Road in Columbus, sold the lucky ticket.
Winning numbers from the March 26 Georgia FIVE midday drawing were: 0-6-0-4-9.
Just a week earlier, for the Georgia FIVE evening drawing on March 18, a $10,000 ticket was sold at M&P Food Mart, located at 4126 St. Marys Road in Columbus.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $24.6 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 2 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.6 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
