Girard Player Wins Fantasy 5 Jackpot; Alpharetta Player Wins $50,000 Powerball Prize
ATLANTA (Jan. 7, 2025) – A Georgia Lottery player in Girard hit the jackpot, winning $510,693 in the Jan. 6 Fantasy 5 drawing.
The lucky ticket was purchased at Girard Mall, 10208 GA Highway 23 South in Girard. The winning numbers for the Jan. 6 drawing were 05-09-11-32-38.
Another player won $50,000 in the Jan. 6 Powerball drawing with a ticket purchased at QuikTrip at 1590 Mansell Road, Alpharetta. The ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers plus the Powerball.
The winning numbers for the Jan. 6 drawing were 17-34-46-66-67 with a Powerball number of 14. The Power Play multiplier was 2x. The jackpot for the drawing was $220 million. The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 8, with an estimated jackpot of $240 million.

Winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes. As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Fantasy 5, Powerball, and Georgia 5 benefit education in the state of Georgia.
