ATLANTA – A new Georgia Lottery game has rolled out its first jackpot prize worth $2.1 million to a lucky mother of two who purchased the winning ticket in Tennille. Sharon Cooper of Harrison matched all six winning numbers from the April 2 Jumbo Bucks Lotto with Ca$h Match drawing, winning the $2.1 million jackpot prize.
Hungry Hunter, 91 N. Fourth St. in Tennille, sold the winning Quik Pik ticket.
Winning numbers from the April 2 Jumbo Bucks Lotto with Ca$h Match drawing were: 7-18-27-28-36-46.
“I almost passed out. I had to call my sister,” said Harrison, 46. “I was pacing back and forth, and I checked my ticket at the store.”
Cooper and her husband, Ricky, have two sons, ages 13 and 23.
“I didn’t believe it, and I still don’t believe it,” she said. “We don’t have any plans yet.”
Jumbo Bucks Lotto with Ca$h Match is a new game available only in Georgia. The game combines a classic lotto draw game with an instant-win component.
Drawings are held at 11 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays.
Tickets are $1 per play. The Ca$h Match option costs an additional $1 per play.
The jackpot for Thursday’s Jumbo Bucks Lotto with Ca$h Match drawing is an estimated $1.5 million.
