ATLANTA – The excitement meter is surging for one father-to-be in Rabun County. Brennen Betts of Mountain City has won a 2015 Kia Optima from being selected as a winner from the Jackpot Series Second Chance Promotion.
Having celebrated his 29th birthday just weeks before winning his prize, Betts is expecting his first child – a girl – in October.
“I’m ecstatic,” he said. “It feels great.”
Betts received the keys to his new vehicle Thursday at Ed Voyles Kia, 2145 South Cobb Parkway in Smyrna.
“It’ll be for daily driving, getting stuff for my family,” he shared.
Jackpot Series is a new family of Georgia Lottery instant games with prizes ranging from $50,000 to $3 million.
Ticket prices for the games are $1, $2, $5 and $20.
Players can enter non-winning Jackpot Series tickets online for a chance to win a 2015 Kia Optima EX.
