ATLANTA – An Atlanta car salesman is revved up with excitement since winning a quarter-million dollar prize playing the Georgia Lottery. Bernard English, 34, played the instant game Millionaire Jumbo Bucks, winning a $250,000 prize.
“I had that lucky feeling in my gut,” he said.
CITGO Food Mart, 1990 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway NW in Atlanta, sold the winning ticket.
“I saw $250, then the three zeros that followed,” he recalled.
Considering the windfall “unbelievable,” English anticipates purchasing a new home and car.
“It feels good,” he exclaimed.
English claimed his prize Tuesday at Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta.
Millionaire Jumbo Bucks is a Georgia Lottery instant game loaded with cash prizes, including top prizes of $5 million.
