ATLANTA – A winning Fantasy 5 ticket worth well over half a million dollars was sold in Calhoun County. Tim’s Trading Post, located at 19066 Hartford St. in Edison, sold the winning Quik Pik ticket worth $611,520 that matched all five numbers from the Sept. 16 Fantasy 5 drawing.
The winner, John Eubanks of Edison, claimed his prize Sept. 18 at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Columbus.
Winning numbers from the Sept. 16 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 15-21-23-30-39.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $16.5 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program.
