ATLANTA – A Baldwin chicken plant worker has scrambled up a lucky prize playing the Georgia Lottery. Arminda Gonzalez Alcaraz, 34, won $250,000 playing Harley-Davidson.
J-V’s Corner, 1700 Zebulon Road in Griffin, sold the winning ticket.
A mother of three, Alcaraz was overjoyed when she discovered that her free ticket resulted in winnings.
“I couldn’t believe it,” she said. “I’m happy.”
The lucky winner plans to use her winnings to pay off her home mortgage and medical bills.
She claimed her prize June 6 at the Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta.
