ATLANTA – Jason Holmes of Brunswick has won $10,000 after matching all five numbers in the Aug. 11 Georgia FIVE evening drawing.
Lo Lo Mart #0003, located at 1409 Gloucester St. in Brunswick, sold the winning ticket.
Holmes, 48, said that he was making his usual stop at the store when he purchased the ticket and won.
“I randomly played some numbers and won,” he said. “I just gave the clerk a high-five and then called my mother.”
The retired chef of 32 years said that he plans to use some of his winnings to pay some bills.
“I’m really happy,” the lucky winner said.
Holmes claimed his prize at the Georgia Lottery’s Savannah District Office.
