ATLANTA – Two tickets worth $1 million and $50,000 were sold in Acworth and Grovetown for the July 22 Powerball drawing. The $1 million ticket was purchased in Acworth, and the $50,000 was sold in Grovetown.
Winning numbers for the July 22 drawing were: 16-25-36-44-55 and the Powerball was 14. The $1 million ticket matched the first five numbers, and the $50,000 ticket matched the first four out of five winning numbers plus the Powerball.
The lucky tickets were purchased at: QuikTrip #811, located at 3888 Cobb Parkway NW in Acworth, and Circle K, located at 5101 Wrightsboro Road in Grovetown.
The winners have not come forward to claim the prizes yet.
Powerball winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes.
Powerball tickets can be purchased at Georgia Lottery retailers statewide. Georgia residents also can purchase tickets via the Georgia Lottery app or online at www.galottery.com.
Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is an estimated $117 million to a single annuity winner.
