ATLANTA – A gas station in Marietta sold a winning ticket worth $4 million from the Georgia Lottery’s 200X The Money scratcher.
The winning ticket was purchased at Chevron, located at 800 S. Cobb Drive SE.
The winner claimed the prize Thursday.
The 200X The Money scratcher offers players chances to win top prizes of $4 million, second-level prizes of $10,000, third-level prizes of $5,000 and many other great prizes.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $23.4 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.9 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.6 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
