$10,000 & $40,000 Mega Millions Winners in Georgia as Jackpot Climbs to $825 million
ATLANTA (Dec. 18, 2024) – Two Georgia Lottery players celebrated wins in the Dec. 17 Mega Millions drawing, with prizes totaling $50,000.
A $10,000 winning ticket was purchased at Shell Food Mart, located at 301 N. Stone Mountain Lithonia Road in Stone Mountain. This ticket matched four of the five winning numbers plus the Mega Ball.
The second lucky ticket, purchased at QuikTrip at 1614 Hudson Bridge Road in Stockbridge, matched four of the five winning numbers and included the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $40,000.
The winning numbers for the Dec. 17 drawing were:

Mega Ball: 18 | Megaplier: 4x
The next Mega Millions drawing is set for Friday, Dec. 20, with an estimated jackpot of $825 million—the seventh largest in the game’s history.
Mega Millions winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes. As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Mega Millions benefit education in the state of Georgia.
