ATLANTA (Dec. 31, 2024) – Two Georgia residents are celebrating New Year’s Eve as millionaires from Georgia Lottery scratch-off games.
The first is a Collinsville resident who won $2 million playing King of Diamonds at Mountain Top Country Store at 12510 Highway 48 in Menlo. The player claimed on Dec. 30.
A Warner Robins resident won the top prize on Monopoly $10,000 A Week for Life at Pepo Food Mart at 504 Perry Parkway in Perry. The player claimed on Dec. 30 and selected the lump sum cash option for $6,079,444.
In total, $51,932,991 in prizes were awarded to winners from scratch-off games during the week of Dec. 23.
Monopoly $10,000 A Week for Life offers players not only a shot at the grand prize but also features more than $46,700,000 in prizes from $75 to $500. King of Diamonds allows players the chance to win up to $2 million instantly. Scratch-off tickets can be purchased at Georgia Lottery retailers statewide. As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from scratch-off games benefit education in the state of Georgia.
