Holiday Week Brings Wins to Georgians as Mega Millions Jackpot Tops $1 Billion
ATLANTA (Dec. 27, 2024) - The holiday season brought a string of lottery wins for Georgians, highlighted by five winners in the Dec. 24 Mega Millions drawing. Four players won $10,000 each by matching four of the five winning numbers and the Mega Ball, while a fifth player who selected the Megaplier tripled their prize to $30,000.
The $30,000-winning ticket was purchased by a Milledgeville resident via the Georgia Lottery mobile app. The $10,000-winning tickets were purchased at the following locations:
The winning numbers for the Dec. 24 drawing were 11-14-38-45-46, with the Mega Ball 03 and the Megaplier 3X. The next Mega Millions drawing is set for Friday, Dec. 27, with an estimated jackpot of $1.150 billion – the fifth largest in the game’s history.

Winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes. Proceeds from all Georgia Lottery games benefit education in the state of Georgia.
