Another Georgia Resident Becomes Millionaire with $2 Million Powerball Win in Lawrenceville
ATLANTA (Nov. 18, 2024) – A Georgia Lottery player won $2 million this weekend playing Powerball in Lawrenceville. The ticket matched all five white-ball numbers and included the Power Play option for the Nov. 16 drawing, and the player claimed their winnings today.
A Shell station located at 1895 Braselton Highway in Lawrenceville, sold the lucky Quik Pick ticket.
The winning numbers for the Nov. 16 Powerball drawing were 21-22-25-32-38 and the Powerball was 16. The Power Play multiplier was 5x, and the jackpot for the drawing was $130 million.
Powerball winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes. As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Powerball benefit education in the state of Georgia.
